Fans of hit TV show Gogglebox were left wondering why Jenny Newby didn't appear with her castmates at the BAFTAs on Sunday evening (May 8).
Her co-star, Lee Riley, took to Instagram to confirm that Jenny had been in hospital for an operation.
Gogglebox won a gong at the awards show for Best Constructed Reality, with participants from the show appearing on stage to collect their accolade.
But fans were confused and concerned when they realised the 66-year-old was missing from the line-up.
Lee posted an update on Instagram to put fans minds to rest who were wondering how Jenny was doing, or if she was suffering from a serious illness.
The reality star posted a video, captioning it: "Thank you (prayer hands emoji) thank you for caring much love to you all (love heart emoji) xx"
While speaking to the camera, he said: "Hi everybody, just a quick update on Jenny.
"Yes she has had an operation, but it's been on the waiting list for two years and it came BAFTA week, so I was totally gutted she couldn't be by my side last night, and she was as well.
"She's doing well, and she'll be out this week."

He continued: "And I've told her about all the well-wishers she's been having, and she wanted to say 'thank you' and so do I, I want to say thank you for caring."
Lee had told The Sun that Jenny had been in hospital, but didn't give any details.
At the BAFTAs, he said: “Jenny was supposed to be here, but she’s had to have a minor operation. It came this week and she couldn’t turn it down.
“She’s actually still in hospital so she’ll be watching from there from her hospital bed.”
