How does Corey Brent leave Corrie – die or jailed?

Evil Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) in Coronation Street successfully managed to put distance between himself and the police following Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) death.

However, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) knows full well that her former boyfriend is far from innocent and is going about a dangerous plan to prove Corey is guilty.

As Corrie begin a week of late-night episodes, scenes this week will see huge developments for Corey, Asha, Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and Abi (Sally Carman).

How will Corey leave Weatherfield?

Of course, we can’t reveal exactly how Corey leaves as his final scenes are being kept top secret.

He’s a character getting worse by the day and soon, he’ll sink even lower when he crashes Seb’s wake.

But will episodes this week hint at the way this character’s final scenes will play out?

Will Corey go to jail after Asha’s plan works?

Coming up, Asha will take her revenge plan to new heights when she drugs Corey.

As he slips into unconsciousness, Asha grabs his phone and starts searching through it, desperate to find evidence that proves he’s a guilty man.

How successful will Asha’s search be?

Could she be the one to destroy and put Corey behind bars?

Will Corey hand himself in?

It’s hard to believe that behind Corey’s evil personality there’s a teenager completely out of his depth but, according to Maximus Evans, that’s exactly what Corey is.

He told Metro.co.uk recently: ‘He is naturally scared – especially as he is guilty of something. He has never been involved with police before, so he doesn’t know what to do – which is why he’s a no commenter, he is scared.’

So how much longer can Corey keep his secret hidden?

If his guilt begins to consume him, will he end up handing himself into the police?

Will Corey die?

As Asha’s drugging plan gets underway, a call from a worried Nina causes Corey to start stirring.

As Abi and Nina arrive at the flat, they find a confused and disorientated Corey. He tries to push past the three women but loses his balance and falls down the stairs.

Asha looks down at Corey’s lifeless body and the women are left with a decision to make; call an ambulance or leave Corey for dead to pay for what they believe he did to Seb?

Well, as Tanisha Gorey recently revealed, her character Asha will certainly consider leaving Corey to die after everything he’s put people through:

‘The hatred overwhelms her. She’s sixteen, so what is she going to?! There would be a though of wanting to leave him that goes through her mind. Everything has just gone “boom!” in her head.’

Will Corey die in scenes this week?

Or could these late-night episodes mark the beginning of the end for this controlling, manipulative character?
