I had a s**t Christmas and I'm unhappy with my body – but I've got my nice house and family says Kerry Katona

KERRY Katona has bemoaned her "s**t" Christmas which "tested" her relationship with fiance Ryan Mahoney while exacerbating her body hang-ups.

The former Atomic Kitten vocalist, 41, previously described her "terrifying" festive period which saw her lavish £110K Range Rover stolen just days before her fiance's Mercedes was swiped from their Greater Manchester home.

It additionally followed a rough fortnight for Kerry which saw her and her family abandon their Christmas plans when they all contracted Covid.

Taking to her New Magazine column, Kerry has now told: "It was our second time getting the virus and, while it was unpleasant, I didn't suffer as badly as the first time.

"Being in isolation and not having all of my children with me in Christmas was really s**t,but it is what it is."

Yet despite her illness bout not being as bad as before, it did cause cracks in her relationship with fiance Ryan, with whom she wants to have another child via surrogacy.

She added in her editorial: "Having our cars stolen then getting stuck indoors has really tested Ryan and me.

"We've been locked inside with the children with nowhere to go and its been really hard."

She then added they "only had each other to take it out on" when tempers got high.

The pair were even forced to plead for car hire help after their motors horror.

Kerry also told how Covid has affected her ability to work out – leaving her less than impressed with her figure.

Kerry added: "At the minute I'm massively unhappy with my body."

After revealing she was working with fitness brand Exante she said: "I trained a couple of times last week but my body is still affected by Covid – I may be doing too much too quickly."

Back in November Kerry told fans she had "put on weight" as she revealed a glimpse of her boob reduction.

Kerry had her 36EE breasts reduced by three sizes, but recently said she felt "fat and ugly" after piling on weight following the surgery.

Kerry opened up about her weight, insisting she's the biggest she's ever been.

She said: "I could cry. I am going to document this weight loss. I'm feeling really fat and ugly at the minute.

"It's getting me really really down and none of my clothes fit me."

And in the new video, Kerry revealed she's still not happy with her body. She added: I put on a pair of size 10 jeans the other day, could not get them over my hips, could not get them around my waist. I can’t help my anxiety about it."

This week, following her double car steal horror, Kerry revealed her new motor.

She took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse at her new motor – a Volkswagen Tiguan, which start at £45k.

Telling her followers she is only renting the car, Kerry wrote: "Omg thank you, thank you, thank you sooooo much!! @faster_car_finance_ltd.

"Honestly it’s been a rough month but you guys have been absolutely amazing helping me sort out a car 🚗🙏.

"Just to be clear this isn’t my car! I’m renting one for the time being from these guys who have been so amazing helping me xxxx."

Last month Kerry was left traumatised as she and her youngest daughters Heidi, 14, and seven-year-old DJ watched as thieves made off with her blue Range Rover during a shopping trip in Oldham.

The former Atomic Kitten singer opened up about the experience in her column for new! this week, revealing the police told her she'd been targeted.

Kerry said: "I tried to run after the car but I had Heidi and DJ with me. They were crying, screaming, it was awful.

"Heidi is still traumatised and I'm so shaken up. I can't believe how everything fell apart like that."

Meanwhile Ryan has revealed his fury as he hit back at a troll mocking their car robbery.

He wrote: "Very rarely do I waste my time on negative energy from anyone but people laughing about cars getting stolen is shocking.

"You lot wouldn't say nothing face to face. You love a keyboard and you love to hate. If you're hating on this then you're gonna really hate everything to come.

"Sad life to live. Kerry's been pushing for the best solution with @raffall what more can she do."
