I’m a Celebrity winner Myleene Klass ate 60 mice tails in grisliest task
IAC: Myleene cries as starts to miss her family
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa has come to an end on ITV with singer Myleene Klass taking the crown.
She won the series after taking part in a gruesome eating challenge with runner-up, Jordan Banjo.
At the end of the show, she opened up about her experience and claimed she went through an ordeal to reach the final hurdle.
She said: “I don’t know what to say to you, it was the gnarliest, grisliest challenge I have ever, ever put myself through.
“I would rather walk back out onto that platform which is 1000+ feet above sea level [World’s End trial] than put any of the stuff back in my mouth again. 40 spoons of fermented tofu which tasted like death! It was grim! I put 60 mouse tails in my mouth!”
In the all-important ‘supercharged’ eating Trial, Myleene and Jordan were joined by their former campmates who were cheering them on.
They were both shown what they would be eating and had to decide the number of each item they would be willing to try in five minutes.
The celeb that picked the highest number then had to try to eat that many in the time given. If they succeeded, they won a point, but if they failed their opponent got a point.
Ahead of the trial, Myleene said: “I have never done an eating trial. I have always been glad I have swerved it.”

They were both determined to give it a go as the first dish was sow teats, with Myleene saying she could eat three.
Jordan said five, which meant he had to take on the trial as Myleene commented: “Oh my god, they are tough.”
Myleene took on the fermented eggs challenge, which she also completed. However, by the end of the challenge Myleene had agreed to eat 60 mice tails and 40 teaspoons of fermented tofu and she was a deserving winner.
She added: “What was I thinking? Do you know what, I thought I don’t know how high I was going to go.
“I thought after everything we have been through I was not going to stop here. I was like, ‘Think of my kids, think of my kids’.”
One of Myleene’s highlights from the series was taking part in the iconic Cyclone challenge with the final four.
She said the experience had made her day as she won a delicious banquet along with Jordan, Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell.
Her other highlights include recreating her unforgettable white bikini moment and confessing to sneaking contraband into camp.
