Jimmy crushed in Emmerdale as Juliette plans to move to New York with Carl

Jimmy King (Nick Miles) struggled to catch his breath in tonight’s Emmerdale, after Juliette Holliday (Amelia Curtis) crashed Angelica’s party to reveal that she’s contemplating taking Carl to New York!

The haulage owner, who recently split from wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), agreed to wait until after Angelica’s birthday to tell the kids about their separation.

Celebrations were underway in tonight’s episode, but friction soon ensued when Jimmy showed up late.

He explained that he had a flat viewing, hence his lateness, but his reasons simply made Nicola feel worse, as the reality of their situation was beginning to hit home.

Things then took another turn when Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) showed up at the HOP, as tension ensued between she and sworn enemy Nicola.

And when we say tension, we mean a full-blown fight, which saw the two legends fire food at one another, plant each other’s faces in cakes, and burst the bouncy castle!

Never a dull moment in the Dales!

The police were called to the scene, dragging both Nicola and Mandy away in handcuffs, leaving poor Angelica upset, as she came to realise that her party had been ruined.

Jimmy, meanwhile, was on clean-up duty, but he was taken aback by Juliette’s sudden appearance.

Juliette explained that she’s got a job in New York, leaving Jimmy speechless, and unable to take any more heartache, he rushed off to his car, before breaking down in tears.

Will Juliette succeed in taking Carl away from Nicola and Jimmy? Or will Nicola and Jimmy unite at last to prevent such a thing from coming to pass?

Emmerdale continues Monday August 9 at 7pm on ITV.
