Line of Duty Season 6 leak of ‘big final scenes’ threatens to spoil show

Line of Duty fans have become so impatient for the hit BBC series to return to the small screen that they have channelled the detective skills of the AC-12 coppers and managed to uncover a string of leaks about the show.

The hit series is currently in the final stretch of filming in Northern Ireland with bosses keen to put an iron ring around shoots to stop information about the plot becoming public.

While they have succeeded so far, over the past few days a steady string of images and videos have started to appear online by locals.

According to those close to the shoots, staff have let slip "big final scenes" were being filmed but made sure not to add any information.

Earlier this week, the show set up camp at Straid Dam, 15 miles north of Belfast, for an elaborate nighttime shoot.

A source told Daily Star: "Filming is in the final stages.

"Some of the cast have already wrapped up but a few of the main scenes are yet to be finished.

"It should all be done in the next few days – end of the month at the latest.

"Earlier this week, one of the big final scenes was filmed at night at Straid Dam near Carrickfergus.

"Even though people in the local area know what show is being recorded bosses had managed to keep any major leaks from happening.

"But over the past few days countless amateur images from set have started to appear online – it will be a headache for the BBC but so far everything is under control."

A second source added: "Filming will continue at various locations elsewhere past this week."
