A man with a massive "ballbag" hanging from his ear has turned to Dr Pimple Popper for help after letting it grow for 21 years.
Forklift operator JD, from Georgia, US, said he first spotted a small lump about a size of a quarter coin when he was 13 years old.
But the odd lump grew on his earlobe and it started dragging his skin down to his face, making it a pear shape.
Not only did it affect his appearance, JD spoke on TLC's Dr Pimple Popper that it also gave off a bad smell.
He said: "This bubble on my ear is heavy as you can see how it pulls from my ear. I try to get it as clean as I can.
"It takes time because it got all these little cracks and crevices that you got to get in. It's frustrating.
"I'm tired of people just talking about, 'oh man, look at that ball on his ear'."
The 38-year-old travelled all the way to California to meet Dr Sandra Lee, aka the famous Dr Pimple Popper, and asked if she could remove it from his ear.
Upon initial inspection, the dermatological surgeon suspected it could be an enormous keloid, a hard and firm scar injury usually triggered by trauma.
She told JD: "I'll tell you, I have never seen that in a keloid so much. Usually they're really stiff and stuck to you.
"This keloid is particularly challenging because in removing all that scar tissue there, I’m removing his whole earlobe."
JD was given local anaesthesia so that Dr Lee could start cutting the keloid out.
As soon as she made an opening on the surface, a stream of blood squirted and landed on Dr Lee and her assistant's protective clothing.
She managed to keep the blood loss to a minimum while zapping the entire bag of keloid out.

Dr Lee had to reconstruct JD's earlobe using the excess skin after the removal.
Describing the procedure as "making a square into a circle", she said: "The challenge is the earlobe has so many directions, so many curves. I have to be really careful when I sew up this circle."
But luckily the expert managed to stitch up nicely and even injected steroid into the new earlobe to inhibit regrowth of keloid.
JD was shocked when he looked into the mirror to see his transformation.
"I feel more like a happy person," he says gleefully. "I hope my keloid doesn’t come back, but I’m going to keep an eye on it and make sure, and if I do feel any symptoms that Dr Lee told me about, then I shall call her and we’ll get it taken care of."
