Nathalie Emmanuel ‘Really Proud’ of Missandei’s Final Moments on ‘Game of Thrones’

Aside from dropping hints about the ending of the hit HBO show, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star opens up about the time fans made her feel ‘really self-conscious, like I’m under surveillance.’

AceShowbizNathalie Emmanuel is “satisfied” with the closely-guarded ending of hit HBO show “Game of Thrones“.

The British actress, whose character Missandei, advisor to Daenerys Targaryen, was killed off in the fourth episode of the eighth and final season of the fantasy show, has dropped a huge hint about the show’s upcoming finale in an interview with website Porter.

While the violent death of the show’s sole woman of colour caused controversy, Nathalie insisted she was fine with how she bowed out of the show.

“In that last scene, you felt her fear but also her strength and her bravery. I love that ‘f**k you’ (moment) she had, right at the very end,” she told the publication of Missandei’s final moments. “I was really proud of it.”

The 30-year-old actress, who joined the cast in season three, insisted she is also happy with the show’s ending, which airs on Sunday, May 19.

“I felt really satisfied and fulfilled by it… People will be really surprised,” she smiled, hinting things will not go well for Queen Daenerys, who finally took the Iron Throne following her murderous sacking of King’s Landing in season’s penultimate episode.

While the former “Hollyoaks” star lauded the show for raising her profile, the actress, who has landed a role in the upcoming “Four Weddings and a Funeral” TV adaptation, shared that her newfound fame sometimes has its downsides.

“When I think about what the show has done for my life, and my career, it blows my mind,” she said. “I love meeting fans, but sometimes the boundaries of general social etiquette get crossed.

“I’ve been followed, and that’s felt threatening. And when I see people taking photos of me from afar I get really self-conscious, like I’m under surveillance.”
