The Chase fans were totally distracted by during the latest instalment of the hit ITV game show as viewers can’t help but share the similarity between one contestant and an Olympic medal winner.
During Wednesday afternoon’s show, TV host Bradley Walsh was joined by four budding contestants ready to take on The Chaser in an effort to take home the cash prize.
For the mid-week show, Graeme, Ashleigh, Daniel and Sarah took on The Governess Anne Hegerty, but it was industrial body shop manager Daniel who caught the eyes of viewers at home.
As the youthful redhead joined Bradley at the podium, Daniel struggled to with battle it out against his 63-year-old contestant which saw him leave the quiz early.
And viewers soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the budding quiz-head online as fans couldn’t help but compare him to famous redheads online.
One user asked: “Anyone else think Daniel looks a bit like Greg Rutherford?”
But they weren’t alone, as another chimed in with: “Really sad that Greg Rutherford isn’t enough of a celebrity and has appeared on the normal The Chase.”
Whereas another argued the TV hunk looked more like a “Poundland Ben Fogle.”
