Trisha Goddard in talks to replace The Jeremy Kyle Show in epic ITV comeback

Television presenter Trisha Goddard is reportedly set to make an epic return to ITV.

The 62-year-old telly veteran hosted her own talk show from 1998 until 2004 on the station before it moved over to Channel 5 for six years until 2010.

According to The Sun, the chat show queen is currently recording a pilot episode for a big comeback.

An insider told the publication: "It’s being referred to as Talk to Trisha at the moment.

"But telly fans would recognise the old legendary show and her back together."

Daily Star Online has contacted ITV for a comment.

ITV have been trying to fill The Jeremy Kyle Show slot ever since it was axed last year.

The programme ran for 17 series from 2005, but was cancelled in May 2019 following the death of a guest, whose episode was never aired.

ITV extended their flagship shows Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning in a bid to fill The Jeremy Kyle Show-shaped gap.

Trisha recently signed up for a new talent agency in the UK and is also set to appear on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.

The former Dancing On Ice contestant moved to American in 2011 to launch a US version of her talk show, called The Trisha Goddard Show.

It ran from 2012 until 2014 when it was cancelled by NBC after two seasons.

Trisha, who has two daughters, and has been married three times and is currently dating who has "shown her what sex is all about".

Her first husband, Robert Nestdale, later came out as gay, second husband Mark Greive, who is the father of her children, cheated on her and she divorced her third husband, Peter Gianfrancesco in 2018.

She previously told Hello! magazine: "Now I get what sex is all about, 44 years after I lost my virginity in the fumbling, blink-and-it-was-over way.

"I won’t tell you his real name but I call him #Boo, and since meeting him I know what really makes a man sexy.

"It is not just looks. Sexy is a man who doesn’t need me to make less of myself to make himself look 'manly'.

"He looks straight into my eyes and loves that I work."

We're sure Trisha has plenty to say to Piers.
