Fallen tycoon James Stunt to appear in court today for possession of cocaine

FALLEN playboy James Stunt is due to appear in court today charged with possessing cocaine and damaging a police cell.

Stunt, 38, ex-husband of F1 heiress Petra Ecclestone, is also accused of assaulting and harassing a business associate.

He is further charged with stealing Bijan Burnard’s driving licence.

Stunt was arrested at home in Knightsbridge, West London, in August.

It came the day after he posted threats online against Mr Burnard and his father, finishing the video rant with the words: “Let the Old Bill come and arrest me.”

Police allegedly found cocaine in Stunt’s house.

They took him to a central London police station where he is said to have caused £183.55 of damage to property in a cell.

Stunt, made bankrupt in March, is due before Westminster magistrates.
