Not child’s play! Firefighters rescue teenager who is a little bit too big for park swing 

  • Firefighters were called to a play area in Bradford earlier this week to rescue girl 
  • In footage uploaded to Snapchat yesterday, they puzzle over how to remove her
  • The young girl stands upright as the two male firefighter work to resolve bind 

Firefighters had to come to the rescue when a young girl became stuck in a swing earlier this week.

Footage of the rescue has emerged on Snapchat, and shows two firefighters working hard to remove the youngster from a swing in Bradford. 

The two male firefighters walk around the young girl, who is wearing a grey tracksuit, and assess how they are going to get her out.

As they do so, a small crowd watches on, keen to give their opinion on how to remove the girl from the children’s play area.   

In the footage, uploaded yesterday morning, the young girl has both of her legs stuck inside the swing.

The seat is behind her as she stands up while the firefighters work out the best way to remove the restriction.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
