TWO police officers have been stabbed in a tourist hotspot.

Both are being treated in hospital and at least one has suffered serious injuries.

The male officers were attacked in Leicester Square by London's West End in the early hours of this morning.

Footage emerged showing the aftermath with blood splatters on the ground as well as an object that seems to be a weapon.

More video shows one of the officers being attended to after the incident by other officers.

The officers used a Taser on the suspect and a man has been arrested for GBH and assaulting an emergency worker.
